Christian Values
Our foundation is built on Christian principles, guiding our mission to develop both skill and character.
Our Journey
Established in 2009 in Tarlton, FC BUGP is a non-profit organization (NPC) and a Level 1 BEE entity. We are proudly registered with the South African Football Association (SAFA), along with all our players, and compete in the SAFA Men’s Regional League.
At FC BUGP, we are passionate about developing young talent—both on and off the field. Our focus extends beyond soccer skills to mental and physical growth, education, and positive community involvement. We believe that local development can pave the way for national and even international opportunities.
Our club is built on the core values of Discipline, Determination, and Dedication (DDD), shaping players into leaders and role models. We promote a healthy, active lifestyle and encourage the “pursuit of excellence” at all levels, from recreational play to elite competition. More than just a soccer club, FC BUGP is a pathway to success, healthy living, and strong family values.
Our Vision
Our vision and primary goal as a club is to dominate the West Rand, not only through our on-field performance but also by becoming an inspirational brand that resonates with the entire community — At the heart of this vision is our commitment to providing a supportive and instructive environment for the youth. We believe in empowering young players with the tools they need to succeed—not only in soccer but also in life.
Our approach goes beyond developing athletic skills; we focus on character-building, discipline, and leadership. By offering opportunities for growth and mentorship, we are shaping the next generation of players who will carry our values into the future. Through soccer, we hope to inspire individuals to excel, contribute positively to society, and become influential leaders in their communities.

As part of our league, we also have the chance to qualify for the Nedbank Cup, a major tournament where teams face off against top Professional Soccer League clubs.

“I’m currently playing in the ABC Motsepe League for Kgositlile Fc. I left Fc BUGP in 2013 to join TS Galaxy in Mvela (First Division League). Now they are playing in the PREMIER SOCCER LUAGUE.
I’m a well-developed soccer player thanks to BUGP. After all these years the coach will still call and check up on me. Helps whenever I have a problem. I wouldn’t be where i am now if it wasn’t for BUGP. In my next life I’m going back again to BU hahaha. I love Fc BUGP”

Bongani Sefako
“Fc BUGP is my family. The club took me to trials. Found myself training with a PSL team Platinum Stars. Unfortunately, I didn’t make it. But got snatched by a ABC Motsepe League team in North West, Southern Northwest Stars Fc that was all back in 2013.
Now I’m back as part of the officials in BUGP sharing my experience with the up and coming”
